Pretty Nifty

I'm running this on a 11.5" AR that I am running suppressed WITHOUT an adjustable gas block. The gas port on the barrel is optimized for dual purpose and the suppressor I'm using is not a flow through and is known for being a bit gassy. The charging handle does a good job an minimizing the gas to the face while suppressed. It is most certainly an improvement over a standard charging handle and worth the additional cost. From other reviews I've read it outperformed other handles that cost more which wouldn't surprise me.
When ran unsuppressed there is no gas to the face at all.
There are no mechanical issues at all with either latch handle and operates ambidextrously as intended. Would buy again.

Bolt Catch Issues
Written on Jan 18, 2026
The parts kit is overall fairly decent. The takedown pins are stylized and work well. The safety selector is positive, extended and textured well. It can be installed at 60 or 90 degrees and you have the choice to run it ambi or not. The springs are springs. That’s about it for the highlights.
The reason for the rating is because the bolt catch is either out of spec or the material it is machined from is too “gritty”. The bolt catch sticks a bit when depressed when releasing the bolt and does not offer smooth operation. I do not have this issue with standard milspec parts and lubrication does not help. For reference this issue is with an Aero M4E1 lower
Overall, I would be hesitant paying any more than $35-40.

Solid Wrench

Review for
Monstrum AR-15 V.2 Armorer's Wrench
As other's have mentioned this is a very solid wrench that has some good weight behind it. The listed weight is accurate. No reason to every worry about it warping or breaking AT ALL. I was able to do all of the modifications needed with the tool with no problems. For the cost it is definitely worth it.
