Better Than Expected

Written on Jul 16, 2016

I was a bit skeptic on the resolution of these units. I purchased mine elsewhere as OP were out of stock.. Very impressed with the range. I warning about humidity which can effect vision. Living in montana with low humidity and cool night temps, this thing is great. Black hot and white hot are naturally best. 50 yards great, 100 yards good enough to take a shot. Can make out barn house and hot spot deer at 600 yards. ( Not identification ) just hot spots. Barn and home are visible and can vaguely make out out-buildings. Identification 100 yards with cool night temps is great. I would have never expected that resolution for a 160x80.. Never lose a blood trail again.

Small pocket size and lite weight are great. Recharges using usb phone charger with overcharge protection circuit.. Snaps photos and videos.. Does NOT have output for live video which is why a gave 4 stars. Great little scope. I have the marine model, my buddy has the green version. Both are the same unit internally, just different case colors.. Wish it has aftermarket lens doublers.

Great Scope

Written on Feb 21, 2015

Purchased two of the duplex dot for a couple long range budget builds. OP said it was not illuminated, manufacture said it was.. Manufacturer, thankfully was right. Duplex Dot, dot is illuminated. Great guy I spoke with at sightmark, he said if there was any problem he would make it good.. Packaging was great, My buddy and I slowly slid the silky box cover up, swear we heard angels singing, we then saw the light, a lot of light.. Really crisp clarity. I've read some reviews about edge fuzzyness at 40x, We simply didn't notice any.

If your looking for a good 5-700yd optic without breaking the bank, this is the scope your looking for. positive clicks, resets, zero, side focus is really nice and smooth. Paired them up with EGW 20moa and set of Burris Xtreme rings. Just a beautiful setup for the money you can't go wrong with the quality of this scope without spending a small fortune. Cannot comment on magnum cals, but for a couple .308s it's been flawless for the first 400 or so rounds and counting. Never thought a savage could look so awesome.. Great job Sightmark.

Awesome !!

These rings are awesome. Building twin budget sniper rifles for myself and a buddy. ( Yeah your welcome buddy ) I ordered 2 pairs of the extra high 1" to pair with EVG 20moa mounts and Sightmark 10-40x56mm TD's... Way, Way too high.. Ordered the 1" high mounts. Perfect, just enough clearance for the suppressors.. If your using less than 56mm I would recommend the 3/4".. There isn't anything bad to say about these rings. They look Great and Scream Durability. Had minor lapping, expected. Just a really nice set, These are my new standard sets from now on.. The only improvement I'd like to see would be twin mounting nuts per ring, rather than single.. Couple hundred rounds and counting, not a single problem..

Move Along

The scope appears to do it's job. ( So Far ). The lighted retical is a complete joke. The crosshair is illuminated but it also cast a ring of light around the outside edges of lens and projects that light on your face ! WTF ! I ordered two of these matte and silver for my .22 cal. They are junk, sorry OP, hate to trinity bash. This was one of 3 trinity scopes ordered and they all are junk. You should really drop this line of scopes. 70 bucks, I don't remember paying that much. I need to send all three of these back.. Stay away from this brand folks..

Get what you pay for

I Purchased this for my nephews .270. Couldn't get this thing to sight in. Every shot landed in top left quad. You could turn wind/elev all day long and it wouldn't line up in the center. Wound them out, gave a few taps tried to re-sight.. Nothing. OP should discontinue this item. Stay away from it..

Great Scope, Really Pleased with this one !

Written on Feb 21, 2015

I was looking for a quick draw scope to replace my cheapo 4x12x50. I never expected the quality and clarity this optic has. It's a sleek elegant design looks great on my .308 annual hunting rig. I simply cannot think of any disadvantages or flaws with this scope. Shoots true, stays on target. While sighting I wound her up a few turns, took 4-5 shots and placed back. She was right on the money.. Extremely clear 3 to 9x no artifacts or blurred edges.. Stay away from those 50-80 dollar cheapo scopes. A few extra bucks goes a long ways.
