Great Product - Most Comfortable Option
Written on Jul 19, 2024
I've tried at least 10 different IWBs for my Shield Plus. This one is the most comfortable by far. I'm a little on the heavyset side and what makes this the best holster for my body type is how low this one sits on the belt line. The handle and butt of the gun are the only thing above the belt line, reducing the amount that it's digging into my spare tire. The other thing that makes this a better fit than many other holsters is that it does not add much more bulk than the firearm itself inside your pants. The material if tough, but not thick and the clip is not large or bulky. The clip is also very flush with the belt surface on the outside, so there's much less sticking out past your body or belt making it much less likely that anyone can tell you are carrying. Compared to a kydex holster, this holster is least 1/2 an inch thinner, so there's that much less "stuff" sticking out away from your body. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for later.

Works Well --- Easy to Use
Written on Mar 04, 2022
I bought this tool to install Trijicon night sights onto my Gen 3 G19 and G30SF pistols. Was spending another $100 on a tool I'll probably never use again was painful, YEAH, but it made installation a breeze. It worked perfectly and was easy to use. It's super heavy duty (solid steel and weights a bunch).
I'd seen videos on the youtoobs that showed you don't need a $100 tool to replace sights on Glocks. They used a hard plastic punch and a hammer to pound the old sights out and push the new ones in. After watching those, I decided not to treat my expensive firearms and brand new $100 tritium sights to such violence. Glad I ponied up a little extra dough. I'll lend it to any friend that buys a Glock and wants to change sights in the future and feel even better for having spent the money.

Perfect Enhancement

Review for
TangoDown Vickers Tactical Glock Slide Stop
Fit perfectly in my Gen3 G19 and G30SF pistols. Keeps the original look of the gun. It sticks out just enough more than the factory slide release to make it much easier to operate, but not so far that it catches on anything. It fit tightly against the wall of the mag well just like the factory part, ensuring there was plenty of clearance so as to not impede insertion of mags (unlike some other aftermarket slide releases that are so sloppily made that they stop mags from being inserted). Installation was super easy, 5 minutes max (remove slide, tap trigger pin half way out, slip old slide release out, slip new slide release in, push trigger pin back into place, replace slide, done).

Terrible! Interferes with mag insertion. Doesn't fit tightly against magazine well wall.

After installing this in my Gen3 G19, and before reinstalling the slide, I slid a mag with a dummy round into the mag well to verify that everything fit. The Tyrant Design slide release was sitting so far from the mag well wall that the edge of the mag caught on the angled part of the release, lifting the release up such that it would have hit the slide (if the slide were installed). I installed the slide and tried inserting a mag. Sure enough, the Tyrant Design slide release stopped the mag from being fully inserted and clicking into place. I tried both factory mags and magpul mags. The slide release was in the way of both.
I removed it from the G19 and tried it in my G30SF. It worked a little better, but still caught on the mag during insertion. I could get the mag to insert fully if it wiggled it around as I pushed. That's certainly not what I want to be doing at the range, let alone in an emergency.
Since I had two Glocks I was upgrading, I had also purchased a Vickers Tactical (VTSS-001) extended slide release. That product fit perfectly in both guns. The shape of the Vickers part shape fit snugly against the mag well wall and didn't come close to interfering with mag insertion. That proves the reason for the interference wasn't an inability on my part to properly install the Tyrant product.
So, I hopped on Optics Planet and bought a second one for the other gun. The Tyrant Design product is going in the trash. It's not worth even dealing with a return and I
