This thing does one thing well; it holds the lower and the buffer tube while you torque the castle nut...that's all. Otherwise, it has no further advantage over a mag well vise block. its a pain in the A** to set up and holds the receiver at an odd angle that doesn't line up with the buffer tube clamp. Overall, it's nearly a complete waste of time. Would not recommend.
The product description does not specify the patch material. One of the questions asked if they are cotton or synthetic; the answer given was 'synthetic'. That's exactly what I needed, but unfortunately THE ITEM I RECEIVED WAS COTTON, which was printed directly on the front of the packaging. The lack of a proper material description was why I removed one star from the product rating.
Great fit and valuable handgun accessory. At first I had an issue with the light that would not come on, but the laser worked perfectly. Just as a precaution I changed the battery with no luck. I decided to try cranking down on the battery cover and that did the trick. It may have had a protective coating on the contact surface that prevented the light from working, but all good now.
The only complaint I have with this item is there is no 'momentary on' feature; it's either switched on or switched off and both left and right side switches do the same thing. Not a deal-breaker for me, but it might be for some people.
Otherwise, it's a keeper.
I've always been satisfied with Aquila ammo; this ammo does not disappoint. This copper plated .22 ammo is reliable and affordable. I prefer the copper plated bullets for smooth operation.
You may not always need Anti-Walk Pins, but for the price you're better safe than sorry.
These pins fit perfectly and the alignment bullet makes them an easy install.
This is the 13oz. buffer recommended by FM Products for their .45ACP PCC build. It also contains the .308 spring and a longer tube. Note: the buffer is longer than a typical carbine buffer (hence the longer tube) and is a tight squeeze to maneuver it past the Fire Control Group and into the tube.
This has the perfect grip angle you'll want for your pistol build when not using a shoulder stock. Excellent product with storage for sight adjustment tool and a spare optics battery.
