MFT Pistol Grip for my next AR15 build
Written on May 01, 2016
Had ordered an MFT butt stock from MFT and decided to add one of their more expensive pistol grips. The ability to change grip configuration was interesting. Unfortunately, the opening of the grip was too narrow to fit on my Anderson lower. I tried other lowers but they too were not able to accept the pistol grip as is. I spoke to their customer service department (Ben) who recommended I use a hammer to get it to slip on. Tried that but this did not work. I then decided to chamfer one edge with a Dremel tool. That allowed me to get it started and install it properly. I also had to grind off the lip which normally sits in a gap left by the removable trigger guard. My lower had a machined closed trigger guard.

Nice and decent stock

Review for
UTG Pro AR-15 A2 Fixed Stock Assembly
Purchased this stock to complete my A2 style AR15 build. It was one of the least expensive A2 butt stocks I found on-line. It is a very nice product complete with the storage compartment. It installed without problems on my Anderson lower. There was a bit of a wobble but I was able to remedy this with a bit of contact adhesive.

Much better than the small digital scale I used before

Review for
RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 Scale 98920
Unlike the small digital scale that came with my reloading kit, this one does not drift. Two point calibration using 50 and 100 grams should also increase accuracy. It did not come with a cover so I use part of the plastic packaging that came with it to cover while not in use.
