Wrong hardware for application

I had an issue with the hardware included to mount the rmr. Both machine screws are contacting my spitfire through the adapter. It is now partially shiny in two spots where there used to be a black coating. Cosmetics are not an issue for me. What is, however, is the same hardware lifting the adapter off the optic before the rmr is tight. Is it assumed we are supposed to source our own machine screws?
To summarize, the included hardware does not function for its only purpose: to mount an rmr. Instead it pushes against my 5x, scratches it, and with blue loctite came loose after 200 55gr. I am more than willing to update this review if im sent machine screws with the proper length because the adapter itself has great tolerances.
