5 star product, but can’t be recommended. Very decent mount. The scope is held in the center of the pic rail which is what I mainly care about for mounts in this price range. The hooded rings are gimmicky, but look ok. My problem is that it does not mount the scope at the advertised 1.5”. It is probably 1.25”: not good for an AR-15 platform. Luckily, I was using it on a DPMS pattern AR-10 which has around a .15” higher pic rail, but even on it I can still notice that it’s lower. Excellent build quality, they just fumbled in the end zone.

Must have upgrade for a mil spec t-handle

This is a must have upgrade to a mil spec charging handle. It’s not as nice as a dedicated enhanced charging handle like a Geissele or a Radian, but that’s not what it is. If you already have a bunch of mil spec handles, this is the perfect product to enhance the experience of using those handles. I can also verify this latch works on SI’s 308 handle.

After a year of everyday carry use, I can say I would trust my life to this light. I purchased the 260 lumen model because of its use of 2 AA batteries, and I’m impressed. The 260 lumen model performs above its weight class because of the tight beam with a soft outer flood. I’ve used it from everything from running security indoors to tracking deer blood trails in fields after dark. I’ve had one minor hiccup with the light, but I believe it was user error as the bell might have been slightly turned which put it into a different mode. Battery life is excellent for a high performance light of this size. It also fits comfortably in my jean pocket beside my iPhone 6S Plus for size comparison.
