45 ACP Storage

Written on Nov 09, 2023

I have been using the MTM AC45 ammo can and the 100 round blue plastic ammo boxes from MTM for nearly 10 years. The rubber gasket on the AC 45 box is for ammo storage.

Ourstanding Addition to an Anderson AM15/M4 Carbine

Written on Aug 30, 2016

I added this scope to an Anderson AM15/M4 RF85 carbine in 5.56/223. The Tritium illumination in this scope is outstanding in low light situations. The green chevron Bindon sighting system makes for accurate shooting capability at all distances. I am primarily using this rifle for casual target shooting right now. Eventually I will be making a trip to use this rifle for reducing the feral hog population in central Texas. The rifle already has an Inforce IR and visible light flashlight and a UTG tripod. Next addition will be an ATN clip on night scope in front of the ACOG for night operations.

Well Made Commercial M9

Written on Sep 19, 2015

This is an accurate reproduction of the US Army M9 bayonet made by Buck and Phobis. It fits perfectly on a 20" AR15/M16A2 upper and locks tightly on the bayonet lug. The blade is cut correctly to use the wire cutter on the sheath. Sheath has an internal spring to hold the blade tight when inserted. Sheath also has a coarse sharpening stone molded into the sheath. Blade was well sharpened when I received it, but I used my Spyderco Sharpmaker to give it a razor sharp edge. I would say the knife and sheath are just as good as the M9 I carried during my military career. A solid, heavy fighting knife should the need arise. If you can find a good used authentic M9, you will probably pay twice the price of this reproduction. A good buy. Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, Retired

Well Engineered

Written on Jul 11, 2015

I bought this as tool to have in case I ever need to work on either of my rifles. Looks to be well engineered. Have not needed to use it just yet. I will probably need it for the next lower build. I am planning on building a carbine lower very soon and will need this tool for assembly.

Simple Reliable Aimpoint - Good value

Written on Jul 11, 2015

I have zeroed this aimpoint on an Anderson Rifles AM-15 M4. I have used it on targets from 25 to 100 yards and found it to be extremely accurate and reliable. Even though it is only 1X magnification it is a very effective and accurate optical sight. Need to try it next at 200 and 300 yards. Excellent general purpose day time sight.

Unbeatable at the Price

Written on Jul 09, 2015

Using this scope on an Anderson AM-15. I have had it off and on the rifle several times. Once zeroed it stays there with the locking rings. There is also 1-6X model. Been shooting at at 100 yards. Have not had time to check it at 200 and 300 yards.
