If you want pretty much forever
Written on Mar 25, 2026
The product is extremely robust, I've shot 1000's of rounds with think spring without issue. You need to remember that this is about 15-20% more powerful than typical mil spec.
It is designed for long life, maybe noise, and slightly recoil ( I cant really tell on the last two with 556 since recoil is pretty soft anyhow). If you are using lighter loads you could see possible cycling changes but with standard 55/62/77 grain you are good to go.

It depends

As most of you know gas tuning is part of the part of the art of ownership. For those without adjustable blocks you need to be careful. I bought this for a 18"Rise watchman 6mm arc and ran into trouble. I suspect the 18" barrel is not pushing enough gas to push the bolt fully back consistently. I've used Geissele in all my builds, works great in my 300blk 8" but (and no it was not the buffer weight) the spring is just a little heavy for low gased build. Its a great product but use caution based upon your gas system

Nice but not great with PWS enhanced buffer tubes

Review for
Magpul Industries PRS GEN3 Precision-Adjustable Stock for AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 platforms
Fit is tight, so tight in fact that it can’t make the stock fit flush against the castle nut like it should leaving a 1/8” gap. Had I known I probably would have gone with the B5

Review for
GBRS Group FTC Magnifier Mount
The Good:
High quality movement, lock in place
QD mount is ADM-like in high quality
The only real option for the GBRS Hydra II
Good mounting screws provided since our friends at EOTECH do not provide if you buy the mount-less magnifier option
The not so great:
Will not fully tuck a eotech magnifier, ~3/16" FOV block when using EOTECH holographic sight

omnivore holster

BlackHawk Omnivore Multifit Holster
I’m using it for the Kimber 2K 11, on a scale of one to 10 where one is putting your pistol in a bucket and 10 is a perfect fitting holster. I would place this somewhere around a seven. It’s not a duty holster or designed to be perfect but it does give good retention. Does what you need to do and for those of us with difficult to fit pistols this fills the bill so yes, I would definitely recommend. This will work with other Blackhawk mounting systems, but I probably would not use my horizontal chest rig

The tank of bipods
Written on May 22, 2025
This is my fourth Harris bipod. I have magpul, (great for weight, not as great for precision shooting/loading) and Atlas, light, strong but expensive. This is your best all around bet for value and durability. The anti cant is a little more fussy than I would wish for but it does the job well

Great on a on a full sized XDM
Written on May 16, 2025
This is an excellent optic, the sight picture is second only to my eotech or Holosun 510C. It's not what I would use for CC but for a full sized pistol, competition shooting, bill drills I was able to easily and rapidly acquire. I have become somewhat of a Vortex fan over the last few years, Holosun disappoints me with warranty, durability, (threading ability to accept proper torque) and sight picture i.e the 507X2.
Downsides: It is big but hey that is why I bought it
I bought two, one was and older version that required backing a screw out to open the battery door. (Vortex tech support, which is excellent by the way said that was no longer required in later versions (which my second XL did not require the screw to open the battery door) I used the second as a canted backup sight for a DMR build.

Great optic
Written on May 15, 2025
I bought for a 300 BLK rig and I love the clarity, eye relief and the 2x magnification. Very easy to acquire targets
I wish it was not quite as long but...maybe the next release

Not what I was expecting- 7MOA
Written on May 15, 2025
I probably got a defective upper but I consistently got 5-7 MOA even with Sierra match/anything. I have a 13 year old DDMv4 16"that shoots 2-3 MOA with anything you shove through it so I love DD products, I dont love how they stand behind them at times.

The good, the bad and no ugly
Written on Jun 30, 2024
Keep in mind I've only shot 50-60 round with this sight.
On a P365 XL with a stock Romeo zero the swap out was easy/minutes.
The good:
Seems to hold zero well
With my high sights you get a near co-witness
clear glass
love not having to remove the optic for the dreaded battery swap and re-zero
The bad
Battery screw slot is a bit narrow, forget using a screwdriver, fussy to open, ended up using a knife blade.
Red dot has a phantom red dot (directly) below the actual red dot as your trying to line up your target, well you just need to remember to sight the brighter red dot. Does not look like I can upload a photo but would be happy to
