This riser appears to be made well. It was purchased to raise the level of an Iray thermal scope with a quick attach mount. Unfortunately, Iray made their mount too thick in the clamping area so it would not work with this half-inch riser. The reason being is the mount does not have enough space between the screws on one side, and the clamp on the other side, to the Picatinny section on top. I wanted a half inch riser, but I was forced to purchase a different brand that provides a 5/8 inch riser to get the space for clamping.
I’m giving it a three star rating because there could be some changes that would be easily made and it may have issues with other mounts

I suppose you get what you pay for. In this instance it appears I did. There are a few other manufacturers that off alternatives such as Matrix Arms that make nearly the thing for half the price. This is a quality product though.

For the price it's great. My decision was between the 3-12 side focus and the 4-12 AO version. The AO offered a much better field of view, but the 3-12SF offered the lower power and an included sun shield. This scope is on a .22lr that's used to shoot ground squirrels by the hundreds out to 150 yards, so I need the sharp focus and parallax adjustment. It does the job very nicely. Just wish it had a better field of view.
