'Ordered this beautiful scope from Optics Planet and received it very very promptly. I mounted the scope onto my rifle, centered it, I was very pleased with the appearance.
Finally was able to get to the range and zeroed the rifle at 25 yards. Next step was a zero at 100 yards; however, had considerable trouble trying to adjust the parallax. The knob was so tight that it took two hands to move it to the hundred yard mark. Once visualized through the optics, it appeared that the focus was still not right.
I suspect that there is a defect in the parallax internal mechanism, causing an out of alignment situation.
I will be contacting Optics Planet to return this defective scope for a replacement. I know that Optics Planet stands behind their products.
Once the new scope is received and mounted. I will take it again to the range for zero and hoping that this will be a perfect scope for my usage.

This is the second scope of this brand & model that I purchased, this one to be mounted on my T/C Contender in .223. It mounted easily. I focused the reticle with the focus ring until the reticle was clear and sharp. Yesterday, zeroed the scope to the capabilities of the barrel - under a half inch at 25 yards. Went to shoot at 50 yds & 100 yds, the target was so out of focus that I couldn’t see the target lines! Readjusted the bell focus to correct; but then I couldn’t see the 25 yd target.
The exact same scope on my other rifle doesn’t have this problem - it’s in focus from close to infinity.
So, it looks like I have a defective product. Now I’ll see how just how good is the warranty on this scope.
I’ll review once again with my attempts.

Ordered 5 boxes of this .223 for my T/C Contender, as I’ve been having accuracy problems with FMJ ammo. These rounds print sub-MOA with 7 rounds less than 1/2” - basically a ragged hole! Plan to order 10 more boxes at this great price.
