I own a total of 4 of these barrel comp combos. I'm writing a review only because I saw negative revies and it's absolutely not true.
I purchased two gold, 1 siler and 1 black. All function perfect with the stock OEM recoil spring. If you follow the directions and install them correctly you will have zero issues. Buy or borrow a torque wrench, use Locktite and watch the video on how to properly install them. It's really simple and the only way it can fall off or loosen up is if you didn't follow the directions.
I have thousands of rounds through each without so much as a jiggle and the finish is still perfect on all 4. It takes a little extra time to clean them since it doesn't make sense to remove them often. It still doesn't take very much effort to do a good job without removing the comp.
The design is solid, the finish is great and the function is just amazing for the price. Far less expensive than others and a real boost in performance. A great value and addition to any build.
