First red dot

First red dot for me. OPMOD version of the StrikeFire seemed perfect for my AR-19 9mm and as it turns out it is. Looks great…functions better. Love the ability to switch between red and green dots and it is simple to adjust dot intensity. Comes with a great scope mount and was an easy install. Quick target acquisition with a good weapons light will make this perfect for home defense. Thanks OP for the mod and the great price.

Vortex Torque Wrench Mounting Kit 2
Purchased the Vortex torque screwdriver to mount rings and scopes on a couple of rifles. Setting the torque level is extremely easy and the breakaway function gives you a positive indication the torque level has been reached. Common driver tips were included that worked with everything I was mounting. The case the tool comes in is interesting but unfortunately does not have individual storage for the driver tips. Perhaps a conventional type case would be better suited for the price.

I’ve become a big fan of Vortex having purchased now two rifle scopes and two binoculars. Previous were Diamondbacks and now this StrikeEagle. Excellent quality and clarity and love their warranty statement (have not used and hope not to). Purchased this scope for an AR-10 along with the Vortex cantilever scope mount. Work beautifully together. Can’t wait to get to the range.

Vortex Pro Extended Cantilever Mount
This is a solid mount, easy to install and secures my Vortex Strike Eagle scope to my AR-10. Only consideration would be a taller version to add a little more clearance from the charging handle if you prefer your scope further aft.
