But NOT for Lefties
Written on Dec 27, 2025
Review for
SB Tactical TF1913 Pistol Stabilizing Brace
More sturdy than some might believe for all polymer. The third leg creating triangle helps eliminate the flex/flop found in some other SB brace "lips". Locks ROCK solid. (maybe too solid...hard to release and wish it "detented" closed as opposed to locking closed. There will be NO rapid deployment. Dealbreaker for me was triangle arms block trigger and safety for left handed shooting on my Ruger Charger when folded.

A must have for Lefties. Easy swap from factory and more intuitive function than right or left push button could ever be. Buy this!

Heavy & misaligned
Written on Dec 26, 2025
2 stars because it's built like a tank and lock absolutely positively. DEALBREAKER is that when open and locked it is misaligned and therefore so will be your stock/brace tube. Had to return as defective but it might be more a design flaw than defect. Have photos ready but don't see a way to add????

Not good for my eyes
Written on Mar 09, 2025
First let's talk vision. Need a prescription for close in (reading, computer, handgun sights) Need a little bit of correction for distance and have astigmatism that makes RD sights look a coma. All due to normal aging eyes. Shooting without glasses, prisms have been the best solution for me and the form factor and features of this PA micro would have made it the next great thing for me if...it had been capable of both the abilities advertised by PA. After MANY counterclockwise revolutions the diopter I was able to get a clear reticle. I should note that just before it cleared up there came a point where the un illuminated black reticle looked like it had "specks" in it. Never had that with other prisms but it did clear up in the end. So...advertised ability #1 achieved, it works with astigmatism! Advertised ability #2 and the dealbreaker for me was that PA says It works with magnifiers because it's a 1x prism with exceptional eye relief. Followed instructions to adjust magnifier and 1x prism. Worked at it for hours. Scoured the internet for advice and should note that it seems to NOT work for more people than it does work for. Returned with disappointment. I love it and hate it at the same time LOL! If you need to magnify it for your use, buyer beware. IF YOU JUST NEED AN AMAZINGLY COMPACT MICRO WITH A GREAT RETICLE AND GLASS THAT WORKS WITH ASTIGMATISM THIS IS A 5 STAR OPTIC!!!

36" Fits my stick!
Written on Mar 05, 2025
Review for
First Tactical Rifle Soft Gun Sleeve
LOVE the form factor, molded muzzle cup and 36" fits my 18" barreled rifle with fairly long AAC FH, LPVO, + 20rd Lancer mag in place. (Not sure if a 30rder in place would be too tight???) Also room for detached suppressor and other necessary "stuff" If I had a gripe or 2...I feel like the padding could be a little thicker and fabric upped a denier for it's intended "tactical" bang around use. Durability? Gonna go beat it up awhile and time will tell.

And this one is just right...

What I REALLY wanted was another Primary Arms 1x6x24 GenIII with the large chevron K.I.S.S reticle but... PA discontinued the KISS. Besides PA's reputation for glass above its price point, I Ioved the BIG chevron with just a couple stadia to the sides. Crazy fast up close @ 1x, chevron tip for distance @ 6x. Ordered a PA GenIV with Aurora chevron/BDC/Wind reticle. Chevron too small and all the rest made a very "busy" sight picture. That where our Goldilocks story brings us to the Bushnell AR optics 1x6x24 BTR-1 reticle. Made in South Korea and rivals the Primary Arms glass for edge to edge clarity. 1x is as close to a true 1x as I've seen. Dot at the center of the BIG circle/horseshoe is very small for distance targeting and the 5.56 BDC is mostly contained within the aforementioned BIG circle and that large thick circle is FAST close in @ 1x. Submersible level waterproof, included cat tail (2 heights) resettable capped turrets, etched reticle with 6 levels of red illumination and an off position between each level...did I forget anything! Entry level LPVO's have come a LONG way in the last few years and there is some glass quality and features out there today that was unheard of in this price range previously and I'd say this Bushnell falls into the category.
