i've had several palmetto builds and have ordered about three of these from optics ...shipping was fast and installation a breeze forms to the hand better than stock or magpul grips ..i bought two blks and a brown ..i have purchased countless of these grips over the years but optics has the best price optics is my go to place now for ar-15 accessories ...love their choice of brands ....hate aero precision anything

bought this for a gas block installation ..requires a 5/32 metal drill bit ..my barrel was so hard it barely drilled a hole . nevertheless it's a great tool to have ..it is fairly tight on my barrel and made my install much easier ..i do recommend .was shipped extremely fast if you can't think of anything else for it's use you can always use it to crack nuts

lets see 1st you can only insert ejection port cover in one direction ...am 70 years old and it had taken me quite a while to get the #$%@ cover installed ...then i went to install forward assist ...oh no ....some idiot drove a pin into ejection port with no way for me to drive it out ..called optics planet and they advised me to take the hunk of junk to a gun smith to have the pin removed and they wanted anywhere from $60. to $100. so i got a return slip from optics ...from what i had been told they had sold me a defect ....what the ^&^%$^$^ are they selling me a defect ...so i'm shipping the $%$#$ back and hoping to get a refund ..it wouldn't be so bad but i had been waiting weeks to get this build put together ...as far as optics planet goes i've made several purchases through them and am quite happy but forget this aero #$%@ just wish i could have gotten a palmetto ...i doubt this review sees the light of day ....you know with all this censorship going on
