The original height on the Nighthawk Kestrel was .19 (I think) and the POI was about 5" low. It's possible the cause was my style of shooting/aiming. But changing the front sight brought the POI up to where it needed to be. Problem solved. I will say, it took a while to fit the sight to the slide.
