Mine was NOT to spec. "blazin deal" was a headache and a waste of money.
Written on Dec 29, 2024
Needed a BCG and these were on "blazin deal" for $99 and retails for $279 ... So I thought I'd see what it was all about.
The gas key was canted and dinged -- causing my gas tube to get beat up & then the bolt wouldn't seat correctly in battery.
Also, there are extensive tooling marks that caused some excess wear on my upper.
Added 1 star b/c the coating was very easy to clean.
If you buy, I'd recommend you know how to test all the different specs in this BCG.

Not as good as Magpul for 30% of cost.

Works as intended. It's a bit sharp on the edges.
I used a file and blued the metal after.
I'd spend the extra for magpul unless you're just having fun.

Great for thick gloved hands in winter.
I'd buy again for a winter build.

Nice but has screw issues.

Review for
VISM AR-Platform Beavertail Grip w/Core
Purchased for under $4.00. The storage is nice and has rubber "holders" to stop rattling (easily cut out-able).
Screw was too long to seat the grip correctly -- just stuck on a few washers and it locked up just fine.
The beaver tail is a bit flimsy and gathers debris easily.
I'd buy again for a fun build.

Doesn't lock on pan or tilt.
Written on Dec 02, 2024
This is fun for plinking but I noticed my groups improve with a standard Harris (s-brmmp).
I attribute this to the pan and tilt shifting under recoil (5.56 and 308),
My groups improved by ~0.65" @ 100 w/ 308 and ~0.50" @ 100 w/ 5.56.
Also, the legs get locked up if pushed up all the way when legs were separated. -- took a while to learn how to fix the issue, but can fix in 15 seconds when you know the issue and how to solve it.

Gas Key misaligned.
Written on Dec 02, 2024
Gas Key was misaligned bending and marring my gas tube.
Removed and installed RCA adj gas key, ( works fine now.)
Gas key staking took 86lbs to remove. (I've had over staked key screws strip at 92lbs.)

Fits Well, Machined well, Works well.

Review for
XTS AR-15 Extended Pivot and Takedown Set
Installed easily as the rest of pins I have installed.
Fits well on/through PSA lower, NBS slick upper.
Works well. The machined grooves don't have sharp edges and the scalloped area aids in grip for takedown.
BE AWARE that rear takedown pin will block normal downward use of an ambi safety. (I like this b/c it helps prevent snag-movement from safety to semi in a backpack / during deployment.
BE AWARE that both pins (which are dimpled) sick out 1/8" on the stamped side of AR15 lower. ( I like this b/c it aids with takedown ease.)

$3.74 on Blazing Deals was hard to pass up.

Review for
VISM AR-Platform Beavertail Grip w/Core
The mounting bold it came with is too long. Just add 1/4" of washers and blue Loctite and it's no problem. (I can still store 2 cr123 in the grip just fine.
Cute storage with a rubber thing inside to secure wiggling.
At the $3.74 price, it's hard not to buy more.
