Very smooth ball head. I love the big single adjustment knob. It is going to take a little while to get used to compared to my old ball head that I really had to crank hard on to lock up. This fat boy locks up or loosens with a quarter turn. The big knob makes it easy to fine tune the tension. The arca mount is easy to adjust and the lever is easy to use. It locks up rock solid and I can tell I will never have any issues with it.

I have one of these on all of my ARs and only shoot suppressed. This took away all of the gas to the face and was easy to tune them for proper ejection. The bleed off is the best system out there for shooting suppressors.
