There are many other LRFs available in the Kilo line with all kinds of additional features. I got the KILO1000 because it was a lightweight, basic model without bluetooth or a bunch of additional stuff that I don't need while hunting or target shooting. I do my homework before I hit the range or field, so I was mainly looking for decent optical clarity, simple controls, clear display, and fairly accurate ranging. This product performs well on all my criteria at a competitive price point to equivalent models from other brands like Bushnell, Nikon, Leupold, and Vortex. I don't plan on dropping it out of a tree stand, running it over with a 4-wheeler, or dunking it in mud or water. If one of those things happen, the KILO1000 feels like it might survive, and I'm not out a sickening amount of coin if it doesn't. I particularly liked the display on the KILO1000, which seemed thicker, less cluttered, and bolder than other brands. This helps in low-light conditions. The only gripe I have is the "Range" button can be hard to find and press with gloved hands, but the "Mode" button seems to get pressed inadvertently on occasion. I have successfully ranged a 24" diameter steel target at various distances from 50 to 715 yards with the KILO1000. The ranging accuracy was good enough to dial a Leupold VX-3i LRP scope to the predicted drop from JBM Ballistics for .308Win 168gr Federal GMM at MV 2610fps for first-round hits in calm conditions within 1-2 MOA at 100, 250, 450, 550, 625, 675, 70

I like the click adjustments. Adjusted down to 2 lb easily with very repeatable response. The curved trigger bow is similar in width to the stock X-Mark Pro, but has a slight ridge down the middle. I assume this is to help guide the shooter to pull straight back. I am used to the wide trigger bow of a Timney Elite Hunter, so it feels like my finger pad is balancing on the ridge of the Triggertech. This trigger breaks more consistently than the Timney from what I can tell.
