Well built and great fit when using ear pro

Written on Feb 09, 2018

I really like the way this fit even with ear pro over my ears. Clear lenses help to see in low light or shady conditions. I have used both yellow and amber lenses on other shooting classes and in some instances the amber does a great job, but in low light with red-dot sights, these do a better job.

Nice heavy duty belt for conceal carry

Written on Feb 01, 2018

First, I will say that I don't use the belt for anything other than conceal carry. I liked the look of the belt and it's wider than many belts, 2". The ability to adjust the length is nice. My only issue is that I have to remove the metal tip to run the belt through most of my pants and then put the metal tip back on. I knew this before I purchased and don't really mind. I bought two different colors and believe these will last for a very long time. Great craftsmanship.

Great little stand for 100 yards

Written on Feb 01, 2018

I reload and love to shoot groups at various charges with a chronograph. I shoot 223 and 6.5 Creedmoor at a 100 yards and this target stand is so easy to setup at the range that I use. I also like the fact that I can take it with me, use new targets each time and replace the white backing once it is shot through. My only complaint is that I could not find a way to replace the wire holders for the backing once I shot one in half. Other than that, I like this stand, it's not very expensive and can be reused many times.

A decent laser with some fitment issues

Written on Jan 25, 2018

I was looking for a laser for the XD-9 Mod.2. I felt a guide rod version would be best and would allow me to carry my weapon with the current holsters I own. Upon installation, the guide rod, even with the cap for the XD-9 installed, barely remains in place. I was able to get it installed and rack the slide a few times without it locking up. The guide rod at first would not stay in place, but currently seems fine. I'll have to see if putting several hundred rounds through will show this to work as it's supposed to. The other item that could be better is the take-down lever, which is replaced with one in the package. It must be installed perfectly before the button that turns on the laser, from either side by the way, will work. That was not an issue for me, but for others. Have used the laser in dry firing thus far to become acclimated to it's function and placement. Very bright and usable as a way to acquire the target is low light situations. It also flashes, which is said to be better for the eyes and to prevent others from zeroing in on your position (unlike using a flashlight).

Small and flexible

Written on Jan 24, 2018

I purchased this laser for several of my rifles. The smaller size will even work with my PDW AR-15. I'm just using the built-in push button, but the remote on off option will work on some of my longer ARs and my Mini-14 Tactical. The red laser is "ok", wished it were green, but when acquiring targets within 20 yards, no complaints. One of the techniques that I had heard about and wanted to try was not having to use the sights to hit my "minute of torso" this allows me to maintain better visibility on both sides without having to focus to so intently on the front sight. Glad I purchased this!
