Ruger mk4 trigger
Written on Apr 16, 2024
Review for
Volquartsen Firearms Ruger MK Accurizing Kit
This trigger is much lighter pull which helps with accuracy for sure.
If you’re using this pistol for training for other pistols you may want to stick with the factory trigger. Nothing wrong with Rugers mk4 factory trigger.

Midwest hand guards
Written on Mar 05, 2024
Midwest Industries always makes great high quality products. This is being used to replace a over suppressor hand guard that was impractical. This hand guard has a good barrel nut and solid lock up to the upper. No sharp edges and a great finish.

magazine holder
Written on Feb 06, 2024
This works great on a pistol for holding your extra magazine without spending a fortune. It fits very snug on the rail so you sure don’t have to worry about it slipping off. The magazine is held in place firmly enough to not worry about it dropping accidentally out of the mount.

Two stage trigger at a reasonable cost.

Review for
Aero Precision 2-Stage Trigger Set
I am happy with the performance of the Aero 2 stage trigger. The fell is comparable to the least expensive Geissle triggers which I really enjoy.
We will see how it holds up over time. I think it will be great.

Maxim stock

Fits great on a Palmetto-Maxim pistol lower when used with a rifle upper. It adds a bit more length and is a little more solid than a pistol brace.

Taper Mount
Written on Dec 26, 2023
Griffin products always seem to be spot on. This mount has no noticeable shift in accuracy and seems to work great as a sacrificial 1st baffle adding to the sound suppression in the silencer.

Suppressed 450 BM Ammo
Written on Aug 20, 2023
Review for
Hornady Subsonic .450 Bushmaster 395 Grain Subsonic eXpanding Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
This seems to be a great option for a suppressed 450 Bushmaster. The 395 grain bullet should have enough no knock down power for ethical hunting. They are surprisingly accurate and with a good magazine and using a lower set up for subsonic use it runs great.

Consistency of shot pavement was great.

Review for
Hornady Subsonic .450 Bushmaster 395 Grain Subsonic eXpanding Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
Hornady always has consistently shooting ammunition for shot placement and velocity. The subsonic works well suppressed I have only used this ammunition on the range so far but the expansion in ballistic gel I have seen are good.

Vortex red dots are great.

Review for
Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight
Nice red dots easy to adjust brightness or the auto brightness works great. Well built sturdy design yet lite. Great bang for the buck. Almost a necessary add on as you get older and finding both sights is difficult.
