I’m still waiting on the rifle I purchased these for, so I haven’t used this set yet. I have used Seekins rings before and never had an issue with them. I don’t think you can buy a better ring for the money. These also use two small flush fitting torx head screws on each ring at the base instead of one big nut, so if you have issues snagging things on your rig, these will definitely help. Never felt the need to lap a set of Seekins rings. Just get some.

First off, you shouldn't have to buy this separately. It should be included with the Oryx chassis purchase. I needed to add 1" to the Oryx chassis length of pull. The chassis ships with one spacer included. Way to short for me. I ordered this kit and found you cannot install the 4 spacers to the existing spacer that was included with the chassis, because the fasteners included with the spacer kit are 1/4" to short. You can use the fasteners with a total of four spacers max, so I'm left with one unusable spacer, unless I purchase different fasteners from another source. This kit should include fasteners that are 1/4" longer, so a person can utilize the full 1" of spacers in addition to the included spacer for a total of 1 1/4" added spacers. Can't believe no one at MDT tried to install this kit without realizing there was a problem. I contacted MDT, but have yet to hear from them.

i waited 4 months for this to ship. finally got it. fit was good, and it seems extremely well made. i dinged it one star because the finish does not match the scope. the athlon cronus btr scope is flat or matte black, and the sunshade has a satin reflective finish. not a deal breaker, but i would have thought they would match.

this scope cap seems well made at first. it fits my scope well, and installed easily. i installed a size 51 on an athlon cronus btr scope, and it fit great. i quickly disliked the cap from that point on. the cap will not stay closed. useless. the cap i bought for the eyepiece has a different style catch, and it works flawlessly. very disappointed with the objective cover.
