TUFF Products 8 In-Line Mag Pouch CBV-2 model - for GLOCK 9mm and .40 mags

Written on Mar 06, 2016

Product is as advertised. Excellent high capacity pouch - what a great option to organize your magazines. There is no space wasted whatsoever between magazines, which is great because I wanted this thing to be narrow (width-wise) enough to fit into a specific compartment of my 5.11 Rush 24 pack, and it barely does.

I really wanted the black color at first, and very nearly purchased it before I realized that my black GLOCK magazines would show up much better against the coyote brown pouch color, which in turn would show up much better against the black pouch interior inside my Rush 24....something to think about when you're trying to reach for the right mag under potential stress.

The individual pouches have no elasticity, just in case anyone thinks they may, so your magazines will slide out pretty easily if the flap is off/undone and you orient the pouch past horizontal.

The pouch does indeed have MOLLE rigging in back and also two Velcro loops at either end to attach horizontally to a duty belt (if this is something anyone would actually want to do), or whatever else a creative mind can think of.

Also, it should be helpful to note that the pouch flap will narrowly accommodate GLOCK .40 22-round magazines; there is barely enough Velcro area at either attachment point to keep the flap securely shut. So, if you are planning to keep magazines any longer than about 7 inches (like the GLOCK 33-round mag) from tip to tip in this pouch, you won't be able to secure the flap - it

Ameriglo GL-112-180 Tritium Front Sight

Written on Feb 06, 2016

This is just what I expected and needed. .180 height, .125 width, with a small tritium dot inside a white ring. The craftsmanship seems very high quality to me; the sight edges and surfaces are straight, sharp, and even, and the tritium circle and white ring outlines are crisp and precise. I do not have enough experience with other tritium front sights to compare brightness, but it certainly seems bright enough in lighting conditions dim enough to even need tritium. I was pleased that OP sent me the newest possible tritium sight - stamped "15".

There is a slight amount of slop in the fit into the slide, but that's probably normal for all front sights....so if you want it perfectly square, it may take a little extra patience as you counter the screw tightening effect on the final turn. The screw it comes with is surprisingly short, and almost seems insufficient, but it seems to do its job, and I was also surprised at how much I could torque on it for tightness. I applied some thread lock to the whole area. Use 3/16 Glock front sight tool.

I'm not sure there are many other tritium front sights as thin as .125 out there, in various height options, so this line of sights is a great option. I definitely recommend.
