At the start of using this Dot it wasn't looking good. After a few shots the dot went out and I had thought oh no maybe i should've listened to all of reddit and the internet and not go with Vortex, but after some inspection i found the battery cap is a bit weird? Its the best way i can put it. You have to REALLY screw the cap in place to get the dot to stay consistently on but after doing it I haven't had the dot go out on me after about 400 rounds so far. I've beaten it a decent amount on certain objects to really see what its capable of and haven't been discouraged at all. Still holds zero which is a big plus. I don't know if I'd trust my life with it yet but so far Vortex is keeping me surprised.
