If you read a lot of reviews on this product you will see that a very common problem is that the clamp that holds the camera on the stand breaks almost immediately. I knew it before I ordered but thought that since this has been going on for years maybe Caldwell had fixed it by now. No they haven't. I was setting the system up in my basement to make sure everything worked before I took it to the range and the clamp broke the first time I squeezed it. I haven't gotten around to contacting Caldwell yet but will soon. Other than that, it works well. I haven't tried to use it at the maximum distance yet, but at shorter distances I get a good clear picture.

Thermal Scope

The only problem I am having with this scope is that it does so many things I am actually having to study the owners manual to figure out how to do everything this scope is capable of. Fortunately the owners manual is easy to understand and I've been able to do what it says. I recommend downloading the app before trying to adjust all the settings. Looking at all the options on a phone or tablet is easier than trying to look through the scope.
