I have several of these on my hunting ARs. They are solidly built, don't rattle and fit on my VLTOR A5 buffer systems very nicely. The contour fits me well giving me a comfortable, solid cheek weld that puts my eye consistently inside my scope's eyebox.
I like the storage in the stock which is suitable for batteries and very small tools and it's readily accesible.
I was also pleased to be able to get this on foliage green which seems to be a difficult color to come by at times.

This has become my favorite deer hunting scope for woods whitetail by far. The glass is excellent as one would expect from a scope in this price class. The reticle is fine for my hunting but there are two features that I find very helpful. First, the green dot. My eyes see the green dot far better than any red dot so at 1x for closer work in any light it’s fast and precise. Second is the automatic illumination shutoff after a period of 2 hours if there are no button pushes (on/off or bright/dim). This helps prevent inadvertent battery drain. These features are both helpful in general woods hunting for me. Having the ability to run up to 8x is helpful for the occasional longer range encounter. This is a second focal plane scope so the illumination stays constant throughout the magnification range as does the reticle size. I find the eyebox easy to work with, not too tight. Very solid, very easy to use. I’ve had no mechanical problems at all with mine although I did contact Eotech for an issue that I was having. They responded quickly and resolved the issue without any fuss. It was not a faulty scope, more of a user error.
