Great stock, however ITS DOES NOT COME WITH THE BUFFER SCREW. Even though the instructions in the box specifically state "Using a flat blade screw driver, secure the MOE Rifle Stock with the provided Vented Mounting Screw and tighten until hand tight." I was told my Optics Planet upper management that the screw isnt included.

P.S.- They tried making it right by offering me a coupon code to buy one from them.

If you are lucky enough to get a complete and correct kit, they are great. If not, you are in for a nightmare. I recently ordered and installed a CMMG Zeroed kit, and after taking a look at the selector tabs, I realized they sent the wrong size(2 smalls instead of a big and a small). After a week of back and forth with Optics Planet even after I sent a picture of what i needed, they told me to reach out to CMMG myself. After speaking with them through numerous email chains and a phone call, they gave me an order number. Since that last email confirming shipping information was sent, I have not received any more communication from CMMG. No explanation, no tracking number, not even an ETA.

So, to recap, if your kit comes complete, you'll be over the moon. However, if your kit is incomplete in any way, dont expect Optics Planet or CMMG to make it right.

If you are someone who wants their parts to fit perfect right out of the box, STAY AWAY!!! As stated in other reviews, these hand guards take some fiddling at best. At worst, you will receive a lower handguard with no threads.

After tapping threads and adjusting fitment, it functions as it should.

Ive used Crytic Coatings BCG's for years now and while you might not notice a "performance" increase, you'll be happy you bought it when its time to clean. No more scraping, no heavy solvents, no elbow grease. Just wipe with a microfiber cloth, use your favorite lube and THATS IT!! If you can afford the hefty price tag, its a no brainer. You will thank me later
