Mag inserts with 10 rds. Easily, no bulging, drops free. ZERO nosedives or feed jams in 200 reds through three of these mags. Buy with confidence. Finally don't hate my 7.62 AR any more. Myou will not believe the difference between AR stoner and the other rubbish you have been trying.

I have a few Holosun red dots, and find them to be reasonable quality at a reasonable price with outstanding customer service. I once dropped an AR-15 with a Holosun 515C red dot, and dented the elevation adjustment cap badly. When I tried to remove the cap, I torqued the whole adjustment mechanism out. I sent a note to Holosun and they replaced the sight free of charge with a free return label. So, I do like the company. When I saw this sight with it's larger view window I decided to give it a try. Have been unconditionally satisfied with it's performance on an AR-9 with about 700 rounds through to date. The adjustment is simple and precise, the red dot very clear and good brightness adjustability in manual mode. Automatic brightness was a bit dim for my liking. The Quick disconnect mechanism is robust and works very well. Solar panel extends battery life which was already excellent at an expected 50,000 hours.
I have not gotten around to dropping the rifle on the rocks or concrete at the range, but there is a robust titanium hood that covers the reflex optics which looks like it could take some abuse. If I get to swimming with the sight or dropping in the mud, I will provide a follow-up, however there is a torture test on Youtube where they submerse this sight, throw it 15 ft. in the air repeatedly landing on hard ground, even shoot it broadside with a 12Ga shotgun, and after every test it goes back on their test weapon and holds zero. I would highly recommend

Have ranged past 1000 yds on an overcast day, to a pine tree on a hilltop (1084 yds to be precise). Quick acquisition and repeatable ranging is what I have found in my limited use of this quality piece of gear. Rugged, rubberized exterior with simple function. Out past 1000yds, steadying the rangefinder on something very helpful. Optics are crystal clear! Note that the Nikon lanyard won't work with this unit. Would easily recommend this rangefinder to a friend.

Purchased this conversion about three weeks ago, after reading reviews on dedicated AR uppers ion .22lr vs. the CMMG conversion. It was drop in simple, just pull the .223 BCG and drop in this insert. Oiled the insert, and the first 50 rounds were a bit rough with numerous failures to eject. After the first 100 rds, it really smoothed out with no issues in the next two hundred rounds. The 10 round magazines function flawlessly, and having pulled one apart, was more than satisfied with the quality. The 10 round limit is set with a small pin that is easily removeable if you want to increase capacity and live in state that permits that sort of freedom. I have not evaluated accuracy seriously, but at 15 yds, and feeding it a remington yellow-jackets and CCI mini mags you can cover 5 round groups with a quarter shooting off a bench (Holosun red dot, Windham 16" upper). For plinking with your favorite AR, I would recommend this conversion. Further evaluation may indicate an upgrade like the "no-jam" charging handle, but good for the moment.

This is my first Leupold FFP, having had Bushnell Tactical Elite, Athlon Cronus, and a couple of Primary Arms 4-14, in FFP as well as the normal range of Nikon P-223, Slugmaster etc. in Second Focal. I found the optical clarity at maximum magnification to be superb without any chromatic aberration whatsoever. No wonder folks love Leupold glass! Finish is excellent, construction very solid, and knob clicks audible and crisp with hash mark alignment spot on. Tracking test at 100 yards on a .223 HBAR varmint gun was also right on the money with return to zero lining back to center as expected for a scope of this quality. Not inexpensive, but you get solid value for your dollar spend. I would recommend to fellow shooters in search of a solid FFP.
