A friend of mine showed me how to " reboot " this rangefinder and voila I have a reticle preference option! Now that it functions like it should my only complaint is Bushnell customer service :( You're better off calling a friend for help! The rangefinder itself gets four full stars , Bushnell customer service gets none. Would I buy from them again probably not.

I bought a Prime 1700 rangefinder and when I received it only one of the three reticles would work. ( open circle) I called Bushnell and they wanted to email me a shipping label to send it back but at this moment I have no way to print so I was given instructions on how & where to send it back on my dime.I sent it back & in two weeks I received a new rangefinder. I opened the new one and started setting it up , when I got through set up with reticle selection being the last .......nope !! A second piece-o that will not change reticles the only difference is this one gives me the circle/dot reticle !! I called customer service and after the fellow on the phone himmed & hawed while listening to me said one moment please and I waited with muzak and more muzak , I drove into town on hold , put in a load of laundry and started back to work as this was my lunch break. Another mile or so down the road I was just disconnected. I know my number must show when I call but no call back NOTHING! .......DONT BUY BUSHNELL !! They are the same cheapo junk they were when we were kids buying .22 scopes!! &&& Customer service???? The guy was unaware there was more than one option for the reticle!?!?!?
