Buy in Bulk, Fantastic!!

Written on Mar 25, 2026

If you are looking for a molle compatible backpack for hunting, urban survival, or a range pack, this is the bag you want. I have 2 20ls so far, and a brand new 36l. The 36 is just wider and thicker, its still the same length on the back. Very modular, I place extra molle pouches to hold more stuff and clip things on to the backpack easily.
The first 20l I bought in 2017 from a different website, and it has stood up the test. The fabric is tough and not easily worn down or torn, the zippers are robust, the straps are comfortable. I carried 40lbs in the 20l for months. the 20l is also the same size as a 10x12 armor plate, so you can use it for body protection putting it on forwards on your chest. Having the straps all around it makes it tight and compact when pulled down. Very sturdy backpack. The only thing is the plastic connectors used to attach the adjusting straps to the top part isn’t so strong, the bottom rung of it broke on a side and I just looped it and tied a knot, which has held since 2021. Also the pull tabs on the zipper can come off but those are replaceable with like a zip tie or whatever.

Fantastic!

This is the second of 3 Backpacks Ive bought from Miltech. The first one I got in 2017 and it’s the Black 20l assault pack. Worked great, the only thing is I wish the strap connectors were metal, the plastic cracked on the lower bar and ive just threaded it through the top one and tied a knot. Backpack is tough, after using it for 8 years its still holding, the zippers are good, but the cords you pull on, I had one come off somehow, forgot. The canvas material is sturdy, only have one tear were it got hooked on a metal spike while at work. The new 36l is just as good, and its nice to have so much space in roughly only a wider frame. I have 2 molle pouches on the back and can fit 4 (2x2) stacked on the sides if I wanted. If you want a fast, light backpack the 20l is the go to. the 36l is if you want way more stuff. I take off the belly strap which is very easy it comes right out no cutting needed. but the strap works well. It carries everything I need for a day at work and you can go hunting or to the range with it.
