In My Own Words:
I love to tinker and improve, firearms for both myself, friends and family.
I have this affixed to my tromix 16" 458 socom barrel. It goes on fine except that there are no surfaces to get a wrench on it. I ended up shoving some punches through the holes in order to get it to mount properly. After shooting some rounds with and without the brake it doesn't seem to make a huge amount of difference in felt recoil. A good thread protector but not much else. but for 43 bucks what do you really expect.
Before I got this jig I had a few different methods of confirming gas block and port alignment. The spaghetti method, pencil method, a few specific products on the market that were made specifically to help with alignment. all of which had varying degrees of success. But let me tell you this, DIMPLE YOUR BARRELS WITH THIS THING! It takes all the guess work our of where exactly your port is. It is way easier to get perfect gas alignment when the barrel is cut specifically for it. If you have problems with gas block alignment get this thing.
These are a no frills low cost option for people who want the bare bones experience with their Ar's. Perfect for builders experienced and new alike. I kind of use these as placeholders until I have the money for a nicer trigger. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with these triggers and they actually have a nicer set of tolerances than some of the other low cost options out there. If you are going for quantity over quality these are the best bang for buck. If you want a NICE trigger. Go look at any trigger over 120$. Rise, Timney, CMC, etc.
I had an upper receiver that had some issues with the charging handle staying in place. the big issue was the charging handle had wore away the place where the latch engaged the receiver. This charging handle made the upper viable again as it indexes off of where you place the latch in. Definitely a good option regardless if you have the same issue or not.
I love these end plates. They offer a great lockup and another option for mounting a sling swivel. I have gone back and added these onto completed guns not only because they are functional but look good as well.
Do you want all of the fun of the AR platform while keeping trigger pulls under 6 cents a pop? Do you want to suppress your AR and actually have it sound quiet? If yes, then get this conversion kit. I have used mine in conjunction with a Franklin armory binary trigger and it is some of the most fun you can have without a sandwich in your hands.
These work pretty well on my Midwest M-lok rail. The only reason why It isn't 5 stars is because there is a tiny amount of play forward and backwards in the slots. Otherwise the covers have done what they need to do.
These worked perfectly to remove the slop between my upper an lower. Keep in mind that they need to be filed down (I used a dremel) to fit your receivers. They are made with extra material on the bottom to be removed so they will fit any receiver.
