Great sling for ARs and similar

Very strong and comfortable sling. Being able to quickly make longer is a great feature. Buckles are plastic, but if you manage to break them you are probably using the sling incorrectly or have bigger problems to worry about. If the plastic buckles really bother you then you can get the padded version. That one comes with metal hardware.
Hard to beat the glass at this price point

Leupold VX-R 1.25-4x20 Matte Rifle Scope
No, it doesn't have a large zoom range. No, it doesn't go down to a true 1x (not that Leupold says it does). No, the battery doesn't last for years on end. But at this price point, you will be very hard pressed to find another scope with such clarity, lack of distortion and color aberration. I have also experienced first hand Leupold's lifetime warranty and it is truly trouble free. Optics Planet has very competitive prices and is an official distributor. You just can't go wrong with this combination.

Two variants exist: diode at 4 o'clock and diode at 6 o'clock. Avoid the later.

I have had and loved a number of TRS-25's over the years, as have many of my friends.
The latest one I purchased was different from all the previous ones regarding diode location. This latest one has the diode located at the 6 o'clock position, while all the others had it at the 4 o'clock position.
In the sights with diode at 6 o'clock the dot will NOT be visible in the whole window. In the top 1/4 of the window, the dot simply disappears. There are numerous threads on the net about this issue you can check. Bushnell does not acknowledge this as being an issue and they are not repairing or replacing these sights. I am disappointed and will not purchase a Bushnell product again.
