works as advertised

I had the opportunity to shoot M855 out of a 16in barrel on full-auto at night using this flash hider and there was nothing but a dull glow near the muzzle. And it's the same diameter as an A2 so it works with bayonets for what that's worth.

one of the best quadrails available

while I did have to file down one of the anti-rotation tabs in order to get this to fit with my Aero upper, this is still second only to the Cross Machine Tool quadrails in quality (and it's less than half the cost). The barrel nut provides a sturdy attachment for the handguard, and like all good barrel nuts does not require indexing. The biggest downside is that the upper ridge is too narrow to allow the us of a superlative arms piston system, although any standard DI gas block should be fine.

Cannot be beaten for the price

Given the mix of low weight, clear glass, 5x power, and nice reticle design I highly recommend this optic. Most if not all other fixed prisms in the 5x range are heavier, although this one sacrifices f.o.v. for that weight savings (it also does not have daylight bright illumination) On top of all this it's very small which is a definite bonus. I am primarily comparing owning this to my Steiner S432 which while it has excellent glass and good illumination, was very heavy and bulky, and had a less than stellar reticle design. The Steiner, while it had night vision compatible illumination settings (which this one doesn't), had a very poorly placed illumination dial, the buttons on this optic are easy to press as in they have a definite click (slightly better than the buttons on my Eotech 512)

Unfortunately I don't have first hand experience with the Sig Bravo line, Browe, Steiner T-series, or ACOG's i.e. the other 4-5x fixed prism options on the U.S. market.
