I recommend it 100%; thank you OpticsPlanet again, excellent product. Quickly and easily turns your Glock into a PDW. I bought it for my Glock 20 Gen 4; my wife didn't like shooting the G20 because of its power, but her perception changed completely once she tried it in the MK1. I’ve also tested it with the Glock 19X, and it works very well. You can feel the difference in shooting between using it as a standard pistol versus a PDW—obviously, because there are more points of control, shots are more accurate at longer distances. The material is a medium-to-good quality polymer, and it weighs next to nothing (a huge advantage). Personally, I recommend buying the Meta Tactical MK1 on its own, without the accessory kit; the quality of the included accessories really isn't worth the price, and you can get better-quality accessories for the same cost by buying them separately. The *only* thing I would recommend getting is the Meta Tactical MX-1 Forward Spare Magazine Glock Grip (I bought two: one for my MK1 and one for my PCC, which also uses Glock mags). It works with 9mm, .40, 10mm, and .45 ACP magazines because it includes an easily removable insert for different configurations; this gives you an extra point of contact and lets you carry a spare magazine. If you carry a Glock as your EDC, you should keep one of these in your vehicle. It takes about 30 seconds to mount and get it operational as a PDW—ideal for range days, hiking, or travel (just be sure to check your state's laws)

I have never had any issues with OpticsPlanet products, but read the comment below and make up your own minds. There is a problem where the binary selector doesn't work; it keeps firing in semi-auto mode. If you spend nearly $300 on a product only for it not to deliver what was promised, then simply don't spend the money on that upgrade. THAT SAID, I emailed OpticsPlanet, and they offered to have me return the product with a prepaid shipping label—kudos to them—buuuut I am an extremely busy person, and wasting time going to the post office and handling all that isn't feasible for me. So, I called Franklin Armory; the representative who assisted me (relatively quickly) was very polite. After hearing about my issue, they walked me through some troubleshooting steps, but the problem wasn't resolved. I called back to explain that the fix hadn't worked, so Franklin Armory—honoring the warranty at no cost—is sending me a spring that they believe is the likely culprit. A few days after the call, I received an email notification that the Trigger Spring had been shipped. As of this review (09/19/2026), I am still waiting for it to arrive, so I can't yet say for sure how good or recommendable the product is; however, I have Franklin Armory Binary Triggers installed on three of my AR-15s (chambered in .300 Blackout and 5.56), and they have worked well so far.

I recommend it � %, good quality, Regarding the 50-round capacity: I suggest watching the loading video directly on the Magpul website. If you follow the video's method, you can load it properly without damaging the system. The only thing is that once you reach the 35th round, you have to give it a little help by pushing the ammo inward—without using force. I’ve only run two full loads through my Ruger PC Charger so far, and it works well. The material is somewhat heavy but rigid; obviously, it weighs much more when fully loaded. I own 40-round Kriss Vector magazines—which are excellent but very long—but I recommend this drum for moving through confined spaces (like inside the home) or for travel, as its size makes it easier to maneuver.

I recommend OpticsPlanet 100%; everything I’ve bought has always been of excellent quality. As for this specific product, I haven't had the chance to take it to an ideal spot to test it out and have some fun yet, but it looks like excellent quality—solid and super easy to install; it actually takes longer to remove and insert the pins holding it to the lower receiver than to install the part itself �. If you don't have one already, I advise you to swap out your buffer based on your rifle's configuration—barrel length, whether you have an adjustable gas block, and whether you'll be using a suppressor. I recommend using anything from an H2.5 to an H3; I installed an H3 because the lower receiver I'm using will serve both an 11.5" 5.56 upper (suppressed) and an 8.5" .300 Blackout upper (suppressed). I installed it on a PSA "Sabre" Forged 11.5" 5.56 upper, and it fits perfectly without any modifications or the need to file down the lower receiver (I've heard of others having issues where they had to file the inside of the lower a bit). I also recommend buying this specific one from OpticsPlanet because it comes with the ambidextrous safety selector and—at the time I bought it—was priced fairly. Very easy of install, excellent quality, the only, I am left hand and work good but the reality is more easy to used for people right hand

Perfect for loading an extra magazine, it is always better to have an extra magazine and not need it than to need it and not have it, of course the rifle weighs a little more, for me it works perfectly and if you don't want to carry an extra magazine you simply don't put it in, without a magazine it really weighs almost nothing, if after a few months of use and everything works well, I would buy it again for others
