Always been a big fan of the 10/22 platform. I've owned the HTA 90/22 for 10years and it's a cool novilty I would bring out and shoot once in a blue moon. But this Trek-22 is built for purpose. Design is very modern and simple. Tough plastic chassis. My new everyday range/farm toy.
I bought a volquarsten single stage for this but the fitment is too tight. The Kidd two stage trigger is a little wider so some trimming is required but it'll fit and makes this trigger super light and crisp!
Best red dot you can get. Little exspensive but they hold their value. Had mine for over a year and put a couple thousand rounds through it mounted on a glock slide(not frame mounted). A its still holding its original zero from when I first installed it. Yea the window frame is a little thick compare to others but thats to absorb the impact if dropped. This thing was made to go to war and back. Even though mine will probably never see any battlefield. It's a peace of mind having the best and knowing it WILL work everytime. or until the battery dies. Overall a decent asset to have. It hurt my wallet at the time but I'm happy. I can always sell it and get most of my money back. Look at it more as an investment.
I've had this slide for over a year and it's been great! Looks cool and shoots great! Had to break her in a little bit at first but I've noticed that most aftermarkets slides usually need a little break-in period.
