You can get the universal one and pay much more, or you can get this one and pay $100 less. It is the same exact unit as universal but it has an extra adapter hand grip to put a rail on a 1911. So you pay about $100 less and get more. I'm planning on selling the 1911 handgrip, as I put this on my HK45. Over $300 but I got for $185 then 12% coupon which brought it to $164.

I knew I should check the pull and travel on the trigger, but got it for $97, so pulled the trigger. Did nothing for travel or pull lbs over OEM. The same was better for geometry, but that is it. Not worth a $100 upgrade over OEM

What's not to like. Easy and simple installation. Great product for a great price. Life time warranty.
