This powder measure is great. it simplifies the reloading process of my centerfire rifle loads. Once the scale is warmed up, loaded with the correct powder, punch in the load amount and hit go. In the automatic mode when you return the powder tray to the the scale, it's starts dumping another charge. Setup and calibration is a no brainer. Just make sure the scale is level, using the builtin level bubble. Follow the steps to calibrate and you are ready to go. Emptying powder, when done, I simple as sliding a tray under and opening the dump. A few brushes with the provided brush and you are done. Just remember to close the powder dump when finished.
I've checked this against my balance scale, which I've had forever and trust. The charges dumped most certainly fall within the of +,- 0.1 grain as the manufacturer specifies. Just to be sure I always check my balance scale with a calibration set of weights. For the hunter and general rifle shooter this scale will produce loads that are more than acceptable. I can't speak for the bench rest shooter since that is not my forte.
I just loaded 200 rounds of .223 rem. and only had 2 charges that showed over on the display. That is minor problem since I use a small powder scoop and remove the slight over amount. This is just a quirk of the scale dumping a few extra kernels when make it's last bump of powder. This also happens many time when using a powder trickler. It's just a fact of powder (more so with stick instead of ball or flake)
