Before I begin, let me make this very clear: This scope is not meant for pinpoint precision. As the acronym (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) indicates, it is a combat optic. It is designed for hitting man-sized targets. Not that you can't be precise with it, but don't expect to drive tacks at 500 yards.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way, allow me to begin. If you have never held or looked through an ACOG in person, you will be amazed by two things: 1. The clarity of the glass - As someone who is not used to expensive glass, I couldn't believe how crystal clear the glass is when I first looked through it in comparison to my significantly Vortex Diamondback scope that I had been using previously. 2. First impressions aside, other aspects that I really like: 1. The illuminated reticle - No, it's not adjustable per se, but if you really have that much
