Picked up one of these in the gold finish to go with my Overwatch Precision TAC trigger which has a gold safety blade. I was looking at several different barrels but the fluting and the design of the chamber area stood out over the others to me. Gave it a quick wipe-down and a little lubrication then threw it in. It feels like it fits better in the slide than the OEM Glock barrel which could be due to normal wear on the OEM barrel since I have been primarily shooting my 43 during range time for the last 4 years, but nonetheless, this Rival Arms barrel fits perfectly and looks great. I took it to the range yesterday and only had time to put 50 rounds (basic 115gr FMJ range rounds) through it but it had no issues at all, every round cycled perfectly and hit the target where I was aiming. Also, I fully intend on the finish to show wear in certain areas over time, and I thought those 50 rounds had already started that wearing quite a bit but I cleaned it once I got back and it cleaned up well and looks like it did when it came out of the box so I think the method Rival Arms uses to coat their barrels will allow it to look great for a long time.
