Seems well made and zero malfunctions

I ordered two of these and didn’t know what to expect given the negative reviews. I’ve only used these on two range sessions but they worked flawlessly. Fed perfectly and the bolt locked back as expected. There’s no problem loading the full 10 rounds and there’s just enough give to the spring to seat the mag (with some force of course) on a closed bolt. The finish is more of a silver color than it is grey and there are some sharp edges (at least when compared to my Colt magazines), but that’s being really nit picky. I definitely will be ordering more of these.

Nothing like the picture

The magazine pictured is clearly a 20 round length body. Since it’s listed as a 10 round mag, it would be safe to conclude it’s a 20 round body limited down to 10. Nope, it’s a typical 10 round shorty that barely protrudes from the magazine well. Info online is pretty much nonexistent for this magazine so there was no way to know the picture was inaccurate (even the Double Star website shows the bogus picture). I gave it 2 stars since it’s well built…but I would not have purchased if I knew it wasn’t like what’s pictured. It’s not worth spending the money to return it so I guess I’m stuck with it.

Heckler & Koch HK VP9 Optic Ready Slide
I have a pre-2020 non-optics ready VP9 that I wanted to add a RDS to. This slide comes installed with suppressor height sights (black serrated rear and Luminova front), so you just need to swap in your existing recoil spring and barrel, and buy the appropriate mounting plate (not included). I also love that this is an imported slide so it has the antlers and German markings. Going this route is more expensive than having an existing slide milled, but if you’re like me and don’t want to permanently modify your existing slide, then this is the way to go.
