Time to replace Titrium sites on M&P

Leupold DeltaPoint Micro has save my EDC S&W M&P LE 40 from becoming a pistol range backup. Disassembly of rear sight was easy-follow instructions on Leupold web site for proper installation if doing yourself. Base plate included, so need to buy extras. Took 30 minutes for entire transformation. Bore site done and back on duty. 4 stars only because if not skilled or proper tap punches, must have professional installation.

All the essentials are included in this parts kit (fire control group too) plus a standard trigger guard and grip. Parts are packaged in color coded zip bags for easy identification as you start your build or parts replacement. Fit and finish are excellent. Selected this company for my Stag Arms lower build. Reasonably priced compared to competition.
Oversized AR 10 Trigger guard by AP

Ordered this AP trigger guard for a new build. Quality of finish is excellent. Three hex head screws included for securing in place. Disappointing factor is that forward right sided screw position prevents using the one provided on a Stag Arms AR 10 lower. I will have to obtain a screw with a smaller pan head to complete installation.
New design for MTM H50 XL-24

MTM has redesigned the lid and lock mechanism for this series case. Same durable material using a swing latch on a pivot pin. Different than incorporated friction notched latch from past. Side tab permits mini-lock or tamper evident seal for transport. New lid design offers shorter height clearance for inner 30 cartridges. I barely have enough room to close lid on 408CT cartridges as compared to older version, May not permit loads with greater OACL that I have in this caliber. Thus only 4 stars.

Lyman Ammo Checker Reloading Tool
Cartridge gauges are a must have item to insure attaining SAMI specs when resizing brass and then after bullet seating. First purchase of Lyman line of “Ammo Checker”. Finish is excellent, caliber size is easily identifiable as marked midway on gauge. Accurate dimensions for caliber size I wanted. As compared to my regular gauge company, these are a bit lighter material and reflective in price.

FZ 224 Valkyrie BCG

Purchased for 224 Valkyrie upper build. Fit and finish acceptable. Tolerances provided excellent match with selected upper and barrel for extreme accuracy. Cycled flawlessly through 300 rounds. Cleaned after range use. Heavy carbon fowling removed in ultrasonic cleaner. Finish permanently discolored from heat incurred during firing (thus only 4 stars). Continue to use without a malfunction for additional 500 rounds. Don’t buy if you want beauty, buy if you want reliability.

BH Oversized Trigger Guard for AR-15

Purchased for install on AR lower for Winter Hunting with heavy gloves. Did not have sharp edges as noted by other reviewer. Finish was acceptable and item within factory specs for fit. Installs using 2 roll pins, unlike standard guard using 1 plus static spring loaded pin. Permanent install untrue! Can drive out pins and re-install original guard if desired.(Why?) Replacement took less than 5 minutes-have proper tools to avoid blemishes to lower. I recommend this guard as a good option for my intended use.
Replacement microphone windscreen for Peltor Tac 6S

Peltor Cup microphone foam windscreens M60-2
M60/2 is OEM replacement part by 3M. No instructions for removal in packet. Gently pry plastic frame from mic opening and replace with new item. Simple maintenance to perform. Originals have lasted over 20 years with PM including first install of windscreens. Also suggest purchase “Hygenic kit” (ear cup foam and gel ring) if you have a set of these protectors.

YHM Bipod Adapter

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. Have not installed it yet, as not to ruin the surprise. Upon inspection, machine work is what is expected from YHM. Please note this is not a quick-detach unit. Suggest using blue lock-Tite on screw threads for installation.
I have purchased and used many of their products including receivers. All have had tight tolerances and never a disappointment with quality. Moderately priced, better buy than other lower priced adapters I have seen on the market, yet competitive with those double in price.
