Small & Akward Design with oddly tiny button switch
Written on Mar 18, 2023
Normally wouldn’t even bother to leave a review, but I was really looking forward to trying out this product. I personally like a streamlined product, so I don’t put on those 1” flashlights inside of a giant mount sticking out off the end of the rail. I am surprised that when I searched for an angled fore-grip integrated flashlight combo, there’s only about 3 in the entire market currently. There’s a couple of vertical grip versions, but for my preference & with certain states & laws, I prefer the angled grips regardless.
So, I have a black (only option) Crimson Trace version on my black AR15, which is great for the design of the switch, recharge batteries, etc - but the angled grip is overall small, and I have small hands. No focus or strobe , but it works for less than half the cost a high end flashlight price alone, for a two purpose home use weapon accessory. Other than the grip being too small, it feels solid, has a natural grip with an instinctive thumb side button switch - which you can swap L or R. It also comes with two rechargeable batteries & a remote button pad if you do choose, but it’s needed for this set up really. Great concept, just fell a little short & no other color options except black. Also the more expensive version then the next two I looked at ($150-180) - 500 lumens high.
I then bought an FDE AR15, so looked around for an FDE color angled fore-grip integrated light again, only finding ONE (this one) at all. I even watched a YouTu
