I thought since these were so much more than expensive than the alternatives that it would be much better. First these are loose and do not stay on at all, Tactical or Hunting uses you have to constantly slide back on no real way to tighten and the two parts are always separating as if that is bad enough they fly off while shooting, they fly so far I actually had to look for it for a while until I found it 20 yards away. On my AR 15 I had the whole thing smoking and the other cover had holes where it was burning through the first time I used it, lasted ONE day and only a few mags in. I dumped a mag pretty fast so I though mabey my bad so on my AR 10 in 6.5 creedmoor I had the longer 9inch and that gun I slow shot one round at a time sighting in my new scope and same thing it started melting. At least that one did not fly off. I bought a cheap Devour one from Silencer Central for like 59$ and I was able to mag dump a drum magazine with a binary trigger multiple times and it held up great stayed on great because you could adjust the buckle straps really tight. Honestly do not waste your money on these overpriced covers, I wish I would have listened to the reviews, one of the worst purchases I have ever made I paid over 300$ for two different sizes and I wish I didn’t.
Great upper, well designed from a Veteran owned company. Questions get answered quickly from David. Ordered a foldable charge lever and upgraded charging block from HB industries and just love this set up. Can use on multiple lowers (check out Matadors lowers, a little spendy but absolute works of art!) pair with a suppressor and Franklin binary trigger and you have a fun pcc that just eats all types of ammo you throw at it. I bought both the regular Mat9 and the Mat9k and I couldn’t be happier. Super reliable and has an adjustable extractor to use with almost any type of 9mm AR lower or regular AR lowers with conversion block, colt, Glock, MP5, scorpion, you name it if you already have any of these guns set up your lower to work with these mags and bam you can share mags with what you already own. Pretty much the same principle as an HK UMP heavy bolt blowback so there is a little more recoil than a roller delayed system but also a lot more simple and therefore reliable in my opinion. Catch these on sale, use a coupon and some bonus bucks and you will get a steal of a deal and will not be disappointed. The HB industries charging block is a 30$ upgrade that locks itself in place when the bolt is locked back and is well worth it just in function alone. Highly recommended. You can build an entire gun for cheap or Gucci it out either way it turns out awesome.
This is super light for the front of your rifle. I prefer Griffin taper mounts for my suppressors. When using a 100% titanium suppressor it is nice to also be able to have a titanium muzzle mount to keep the swing weight as low as possible. The muzzle break extends the life of your suppressor baffles by being a sacrificial chamber and if it ever wears out is ALOT cheaper to replace than a baffle stack. The taper threading is precise and I have them on at least 5 rifles so when swapping suppressors they line up every time with a check rod to verify centricity. I purchased one direct through Griffin armament and it’s cool to get decals and a catalogue but after paying full price + Shipping it was about 120 and getting it on optics planet with a coupon and bonus bucks it was only about 85.00. So if you plan to outfit multiple guns OP is the place to be!!!!
Super thick and warm, seriously better than some expensive brand fleece I have. I bought one and immediately after receiving I bought one for everyone in the family and they love them. 10$ is less that you pay for a cheeseburger these days. Get one now join the Optics planet team!!
