Galco Hornet Belt Leather Holster
This is a well made holster (SP101 2.25") - quality material and well put together. I gave it only 4 stars because I feel it could use slightly more cant - probably a matter of personal preference. Still well worth buying and way better than the competition in the same price range. Cross draw is good for when seated in vehicle.

Great Safe Ammo Storage Option
Written on Jun 29, 2020
If you get some CCI 22 Mag or 17 HMR ammo it comes in packaging that is not easy to transport once you've opened it. You get live ammo all over the place. These little MTM boxes store your ammo tip up so that delicate tips do not get damaged. The lid opens flat, so you can access the ammo easily. A must have.

Not Cheap - But Leupold Quality

Leupold Torx Screw Kit - 52395
Nice to have these on hand for those times when you lose a scope ring screw - or strip one. Also, if you switch a scope from one rifle to another rather than use the same screws (may look a little chewed up) you can install a new set.
Hopefully Leupold procured screws made to tight tolerances from good steel, and not the Chinese junk that is most frequently sold online - and your local hardware store.
My only gripe about this set is that it has both stainless and blued screws. I have no stainless rings or bases and don't expect to ever use them, so these will either go unused, or I could go for the two tone look !
If I use only the blue screws and discard the stainless then I am working out to about 50 cents per screw - I've paid more for less.

Ideal for Airguns and Rimfire
Written on May 08, 2020
This scope is ideal for airguns (it can take the beating of a spring piston design) and rimfire. The parallax adjustment comes in very useful for these rifles, and is essential for shooting 30 yards or less. Good optics, repeatable adjustments, accurate parallax settings.

Pachmayr Compact Gun Grips
I have these on two guns - Ruger SP101 and S&W J Frame.
The SP101 model is about 1/4" longer than the stock grip, but quite a bit fatter and more comfortable - has no join, just slops over the Ruger metal stub that protrudes from the frame. Looks a lot different to other Compac model grips in the Pachmayr lineup. It also fills in the gap behind the trigger guard so that your middle finger does not get beat up by the rear of the trigger guard due to recoil. Also gives great grip with wet or sweaty hands.
S&W J Frame model looks large on the gun. Very comfortable because it puts rubber over the backstrap.. If you can tolerate a hard metal backstrap in your hand during recoil and would like something more compact try the Pachmayr Compac Pro model.

Good Design & Durable

MTM 4-Can Ammo Crate
These are well designed, durable, and easy to stack and transport. Only slight downside is that the catches can accidentally open. Reasonably priced for what they are. Have not tried them to see if waterproof, but look like they will at least be rain proof.

Perfect Item at a Good Price on OP

Browning Buck Mark Standard Pistol Magazine
This is a genuine Browning product at a good price. Perfect fit and function. It looks good and works good too. Has a convenient button on the side so that you can move the follower down with one hand while adding ammo with the other - no sore thumbs. Can't beat this for the price. Not an easy item to find at other stores.

Good Design for larger hands

Pachmayr Finger Groove Decelerator Gun Grips
This grip is a good ergonomic design for those with large + sized hands. It covers the steel backstrap to soften recoil on those heavy loads. It does make the grip longer back to front and longer top to bottom, but not by much. I think these are made in China now, and they have some excess rubber at the edges that you will need to trim off - reason for the one star reduction.

Good product, good value
Written on Aug 13, 2018
This grip fits the gun very well. Does not extend length of gun or length of grip - compact. Steel backstrap is exposed, so the recoil sensitive may prefer a grip that covers the steel. Overall this is a well made product at a fair price.

Pachmayr Presentation Gun Grips
Pachmayr grips used to be works of art, but now they are made in China (I think). In the old days you could guarantee fine workmanship and good fit. Design is still the same, but now they come with a lot of excess rubber (I shaved mine off with a disposable razor) and the two halves don't fit together too well. If you don't mind the gaps and slight misalignment then these are still great grips. The tapered shape of these Presentation grips means they are suitable for all hand sizes.
