Very Disappointed

I purchased the 5-25X Veracity scope three years ago because I heard about the lifetime warranty, and how great the customer satisfaction is through Burris. Both of these proved to be dead wrong. I shoot a Remington BDL .300 ultra magnum and had another brands 3-9X on this rifle before with zero issues. I wanted to increase my effective range so I looked at several high end, high powered scopes. I purchased the above mentioned scope because I was told it was going to be covered for a lifetime. Over the last 3 years I have been battling with this scope and just recently the manufacturer. The problem was that the scope kept slipping in the rings. I don't know if it's the finish on the scope because it's not the rings. I started with my previous rings that held that scope just fine. Long story short over the next 3 years I tried a bunch of Burris rings to hold the scope with no avail (to include their XTR Signature Rings). After the same issue for years and spending serious money on trying to fix the problem and buying ammo, I asked if they could give me my money back and return the scope? No was the answer, because they state it's only a replacement warranty. I asked if they could replace it and they stated no because they believe there's nothing wrong with the scope. I also emailed their customer service dept. about this in the beginning and not a single response I then called the customer service center and spoke to a representative.
