I have used A LOT of packs over the years and had likes and dislikes for all of them. Some I was able to change one way or the other to make it better but have never found the one. This one is very close to exactly what I need for tree stand hunting. Rigidity is great, space is very adequate unless I kill something and have to pack out a load, it won't fit much. Be nice if the pack was separate from the frame to enable sandwiching elk quarter between the two like the Mystery Ranch model I have and use for still hunting. The waste belt is well thought out in that it is minimal material close to body of pack, so they fold easily and don't make the pack push out from the tree when hanging. Zippers are rather loud, but I don't own a pack and never have that had quiet zippers. Slow is the way to open and close them. Great price from optic planet.

I purchased with the hope of them being at least equivalent to what I already have but in one package. I have Nikon Monarch 7 Binocs and V7 Rangefinder.
Clarity, focus, FOV; equal except for range finder on FOV, Astra was obviously better.
Weight too close to notice
Readability of range; Astra had issues, the readings are too light (gray) need to be red or solid black. Nikon are solid black.
Pinpoint range detection; Astra had issues, had to move dot around to get through 4'x4' gap in trees. Trees were 30yards, car was 114yards. Astra kept picking up trees until I moved the dot to the right. Could be big deal if item wanting range for is 40 yards and trees are 30 yards. I may not notice and shoot for 30 yards at a 40 yard target. MISS or wound goes up. Nikon hit accurate every time.

Shooting a CVA 44 mag single shot rifle. The guns loves this ammo. Super tight groups even out to 150 yards. Price was great, shipping was fast.
