Fits 940c as well as it's bigger brother the 940

Written on Jun 06, 2025

According to Agency Arms web site this is "(COMPATIBLE WITH FIRST GEN P80 PF940C ONLY)". I have 5 of these installed and 2 of them are on a full size PF940. These require a little bit of intelligently applied force to install on a 940c and a little bit more to install on a 940 but the end result is a very nice tight fit on both size pistols.

This magwell does not have much of a flair so it may not be best for competition but, it's great for concealed carry.
I have used this magwell on first gen P80 PF940C's as well as the later gen 76% bridge frames and they fit well on both.
I have also used this magwell on both versions of the full sized pistol frame and although it is a little harder to get in place it's doable and once in place it's very solid.

Nice Idea?

I really didn't like the grip style even before I bought it and I like it even less now. I guess it's just a matter of taste so I didn't take any stars away for that. People that have folding stocks with the Law Tactical adapter will have to shave about 3/16" off the beaver tail of this thing as it actually extends past the rear of the lower receiver. IMO that's a design flaw.

I have the Law Tactical folding stock adapter and the Cry Havoc Tactical quick release barrel adapter with a 10.2" 5.56 barrel and a 8" 300 BLK barrel. My whole idea with this build was to try to pack as much into as small a package as possible and this is the only folding grip I know of. When you fold the stock the PAB grip can also save you a few inches vertically at the expense of the PAB grip extending past the rifle about the same distance horizontally. So you end up saving a little space one way just to gain it another way. If you need to save in the width and you don't care about the lengths then this might be for you, otherwise it's pointless.

Another issue is this need to be attached by a cap screw and they don't supply any screws. That wasn't a problem for me as I had one but, it could save some a trip to the hardware store and for the price they really should supply one. Another issue is its a really hard to screw it down all the way I took the screw out the first time because I thought I might be cross threading. It wasn't its just real hard to screw it down all the way.

Similar quality @ 1/2 the price

Written on Oct 16, 2024

This magazine is similar in quality to a genuine Glock mag at almost 1/2 the price. With this order I also purchased a 15 round magpul mag and I was not impressed. While it is a magpul so I'm sure it will function it did not have the steel sleeve for long term durability or the windows like glock does so you can see the round count. On the other hand these SGM mags have all of that and they even have a very nice looking logo on the side.

Trijicon RMR

With Trijicon you get what you pay for. Trijicon isn't cheap but then again Trijicon isn't cheap. I don't run a red dot on any of my pistols. I use this on top of my ACOG. If I only had one rifle optic I would choose something else, however as an addition to a magnified optic this can't be beat. It allows for a very quick transition from magnification to 1x. It also has a small footprint, great glass, great battery life and is extremely robust. This has everything you would want in a secondary addition to a magnified optic.

It's just OK

It's better than the stock trigger but not by much. IMO the price is not worth the very minimal improvement. While this is an improvement, If I were to buy another trigger I would buy something bettor. The price while cheaper than most aftermarket options does not justify the minimal improvement. Buy something better even if you have to spend more money or just stick with the stock trigger.

BCM Quality

It's BCM of course it's good. It's everything a short Vertical fore Grip should be. It's the real deal!

5 star mostly due to price

Written on Oct 14, 2024

Well these are Magpul so it works and at a price point of $14.95 and comsidering a Glock mag is more than twice the price, the price is excellent. However these just feel cheap. they are 100% polymer so they are not magnetic and are very light. So I have to wonder why Glock thinks this mag needs metal reinforced polymer and Magpul does not. While these are definitely worth the money, so is an actual Glock mag. I believe this is a case of you get what you pay for. Its also worth noting if you have magnetic magazine holders like I do this wont work with that. So would I recommend this? For me no but, for others it may be a viable alternative to higher quality but far more expensive Glock mags. After all these are Magpul. If they didn't work I'm sure magpul wouldn't make them.

Great Compromise

I have heard a lot of criticism on line of this product mostly saying it tries to fill 2 rolls and does neither as well as the separate components. I agree to a point but not completely. Another criticism is it's large and ugly. Well it is kind of large but it is so because of the dual roll it plays and even then it does not look out of place on my AR10. This item serves it's purpose well on any rifle that you want to keep a fighting rifle but also has the ability to reach out and would benefit greatly by having a bi-pod (DMR, AR10 come to mind).
While it's true if I had separate components I would have a shorter fore-grip and a bi-pod with legs that I could level separately. I (IMO) would then have a rifle less suitable for fulfilling both rolls as a fighting rifle and a marksman rifle. This grip pod fulfills its dual roll very well. The fore-grip while large is solid and comfortable and the Bi-pod function has steel reinforced legs, is quick, solid and easily deployable.
There is a good reason the military uses these. They are well built and serve their dual purpose well.

How can a weapon light possibly be worth this much?

Written on Oct 08, 2023

I bought a Scout Light Weapon Light and I absolutely love it. I was asking myself :How can a weapon light possibly be worth that much when I have a ProTac weapon light that works well? Well, I found out! The 640 lumen Surefire Scout is so much better than the 1ooo lumen Streamlight ProTac in beam quality and just the way it pierces the night, it has to be seen to be believed. The quality of the SureFire Scout is 2nd to none as well!
