Celestron Ultima 80 Spotting Scope
I purchased this scope as an upgrade from a Roxant Blackbird. It's significantly larger, heavier and 3X the price of my old scope so I guess I expected significantly better performance. I'm disappointed. It's difficult to focus and only slightly more powerful than than my Roxant Blackbird. It's not really much of an upgrade. It works, appears to be well made, and will do what I need it to do, but there are cheaper alternatives that will perform equally well.

Nice G.I. style case

Bought four of these. Two for my M1 carbines and two of the Garand version. Nice heavy canvas construction with a heavy duty zipper. They appear well constructed and durable. The "fleece" lining didn't really impress me (I guess I expected it to be a little thicker) but it's much better than the cheap unlined versions sold elsewhere.

Don't let the low price dissuade you. This case exceeded my expectations Well constructed and very durable. Makes me regret wasting money on some of the higher priced cases I've purchased elsewhere. This case is a true bargain.
