I ordered this for my Midwest Industries 308 16 inch barrel...This scope works like a charm. The lens are crystal clear, the knobs are very distinct and setting the zero stop is a breeze. The MOTAC feature is sweet, saves battery life, and it just looks cool. Only thing is I wish it was 1 click for .25 moa, but its 1 click for .5 moa, but that is very minute issue. Once mounted, I was able to take 500 yard shots without issues (I have bad vision), and the reticle is not cluttered, plus it is etched on the lens...but then again for a $1800 it better be a sweet scope, fortunately, I found this on sale at Optics Planet, and I got it for over 50% off...and yes it was BRAND NEW...unlike the mounting rings I ordered from Optics Planet, but that is another story... All in all BUY THIS SCOPE....

So for starters, these rings are awesome. First time I was mounting a scope by myself, and it was a breeze to level, and get setup. Only problem will be with Optics Planet. I ordered thinking I was getting a new item, but it was definitely an item that someone has opened before. It came in what I considered the original packaging, but it had no literature/manual/instructions (kinda hard when you are doing this for the first time), and the package was being held together with scotch tape. I called Sig Sauer, and asked if this was the way they shipped new packages and the customer service person said no. So I just asked him what the torques for tightening down the screws were, he told me and I was off to the races...Didn't feel like calling optics planet, explaining that I got an opened item, sending the package back and having to wait to get another scope rings. They didn't have any scratches on them, and the screws were not stripped, plus the price was about 20-30 bucks cheaper than elsewhere...needless to say, they are working great.
