Poor Design
Written on Apr 28, 2026
Was surprised to discover that this safety requires pins. Not a big deal but this is not ideal if you decide to swap it out. My main issue with this safety is that the lever pivots on the pin itself so it rocks back and forth every time you touch it causing scratches on the receiver. Wanted to try something new and I like other Reptilia products, but this one is trash.

Review for
JMac Customs 1913 Folding Mech
Does not function as intended. I own several folding stocks/braces from other brands, like A3, Sig, Strike Industries and Midwest Industries that all work fine. This one does not, now my Jmac folding stock is a fixed stock. Don't waste your time or money on Jmac

Review for
Harris Engineering 6in-9in Ultralight Bipod
I have been a fan of Harris bipods for decades. I still like certain features about the Harris more that Atlas. Harris feels sturdier with less wobble when loaded. The quick deploy legs have always been a great feature. Just wish Harris would start offering a pan option rather than swivel.

Nice handguard, missing hardware
Written on Jan 31, 2025
Overall I like the look, fit and finish of the product. My hardware kit was missing a couple pieces, I reached out to Midwest Industries and they said they would ship right away, with no hassle whatsoever. Just annoying, since my disassembled weapon has to sit and wait. Pretty easy install, with appropriate tools, though some may find the process a bit intimidating. Pairs well with the matching stock

Better than Sig MCX stock
Written on Jan 31, 2025
Fair price, solid construction. The folding mechanism is a bit easier to use than the Sig MCX stock, once I figured out how it functioned. The hinge is sturdy and does require some break in. The included cheek riser is a nice addition and it set at a functional height. Midwest Industries is typically pretty consistent with quality products.

Kidd Bolt Review
Written on Dec 11, 2024
The bolt looks great and looks to be machined well. The scalloping is a nice touch. Whipped quickly, however packaging of the item was poor. The item was thrown loosely into a thin bubble mailer. The manufacturers packaging was damaged and the bolt was loosely tumbling around within the bubble mailer. Disappointed in the packaging.
